National Food Day is one of the University of Idaho Sustainability Center's largest events of the school year, and for that reason I went big for this project. Food is a huge issue in the United States so I wanted to create something that seemed overwhelming and busy. I created an icon based on some of the main exports of each state which resulted in a mosaic effect, tiling each state one by one.
These materials were for an independently organized TEDx event hosted by the University of Idaho Sustainability Center. I integrated the TED branding with the typeface and color choice for the title of the event on the printed materials. I also adapted the National Food Day branding provided from their website foodday.org, because Moscow, Idaho played a smaller part of this larger effort to bring food closer to our dining room table.Back to Portfolio
